- HEX day — HEX's internal day counter. Day 1 is 3 December 2019. Maturities and redemption are
denominated in HEX days.
- HSI (HEX Stake Instance) — a tokenized, delegatable HEX stake.
- Hex Bond (HB) — this protocol's fixed-maturity token: redeemable for a fixed amount of HEX on
a specific HEX day, minted through the Hex Bond manager or migrated 1:1 from a real Actuator HTT.
The farms pair HB with HEX.
- HTT (HEX Time Token) — Actuator's equivalent token. In these docs, HTT always refers to
Actuator's tokens; this protocol's own are Hex Bonds (HB).
- Maturity — the HEX day from which a Hex Bond can be redeemed. Note the naming convention (the
same one Actuator uses): a token is labelled one higher than the day it keys to, so HB-3000
becomes redeemable on HEX day 2999. Redemption is allowed once the current HEX day reaches that
key, and reverts (
NotMatured) before it.
- Redemption — exchanging a matured Hex Bond for its underlying HEX.
- EES (Emergency End Stake) — ending a HEX stake before its term, forfeiting a penalty.
- HBR (Hex Bond Rewards) — the protocol's reward and value-capture token.
- Reflect — redistributing a slice of the swap tax to HBR stakers via the staking vault.
- POL (protocol-owned liquidity) — liquidity held by the treasury rather than rented from
farmers.
- Rehypothecation — putting a pool's idle LP assets to work through a strategy for extra yield.
Supported by MasterChefX, but no strategy is deployed and no pool uses one.
