Wrapping HTT into HB

Already hold a HEX Time Token (HTT)? Wrap it 1:1 into the matching Hex Bond (HB) on the Wrap page, and unwrap it back whenever you want.

Why wrap

Hex Bond farms pay HBR on HB/HEX pools, not HTT/HEX pools. Wrapping swaps your HTT for the HB with the same date, so you can pair it with HEX and farm. Your HTT stays locked behind the HB 1:1, and on its date the HB pays out 1:1 in HEX.

Which dates

Any date that already has an HTT can be wrapped, including HB-3000 through HB-8000. Dates with no HTT can't. Wrapping closes on the maturity day.

Wrap (HTT → HB)

  1. Pick the date and amount on Wrap, approve, then wrap.
  2. You get the same amount of HB, minus the fee.

Fee: 1%, paid in HB to the HBR stakers in that date's vault. If you are one of them, you get your share back. It releases over 7 days (see How Hex Bond works). If nobody is staked in that vault, the 1% is waived.

Last 90 days: the fee rises steadily from 1% to 10% on the maturity day. The first 1% still goes to vault stakers; the rest goes to the treasury. This stops people buying cheap HTT just before the date and swapping it in for free.

Unwrap (HB → HTT)

Give back your HB and get your HTT back, minus 1% — useful if you need the HTT elsewhere, for example to repay a loan against it.

The 1% goes to that date's vault stakers in HB. If nobody is staked there, it goes to the treasury in HTT instead. You can unwrap until the HTT behind that date has been cashed in for HEX.

At maturity

Once the HTT can be cashed in, anyone can trigger it. The HTT turns into HEX, and that HEX now backs the HB. From then on you redeem the HB 1:1 for HEX like any other Hex Bond, and unwrapping that date is no longer possible.
