HBR staking
Stake HBR on its own — no liquidity, no pairing, no maturity to pick — and earn a share of the swap tax and treasury income, paid in HBR. There are no tiers: everyone shares every payment in proportion to their stake. The only rule is the 90-day lock on what you stake.
Where the rewards come from
All rewards arrive as HBR, from three sources:
- 0.5% of every HBR buy and sell — part of the 6% swap tax.
- 1% of HBR farm rewards. This is a slice of the existing schedule, not extra supply.
- The treasury's revenue share, starting at 10% and growing — see Treasury & revenue share.
Holding HBR in your wallet earns none of this — you have to stake.
How rewards reach you
- 1% of the reward pool is paid out per day, every second, with no end date. New income simply joins the pool.
- What you earn unlocks over 7 days. A claim pays what has unlocked; the rest stays yours, even after you fully unstake. Nothing is ever forfeited.
The 90-day lock
Staked HBR is locked for 90 days. The lock covers your stake only, never your rewards.
- Leaving early burns a penalty on the part still locked. It shrinks steadily: 100% on day 0, half at day 45, zero at day 90.
- HBR that has served 90 days leaves free, and is withdrawn first.
- The penalty is burned, so HBR supply falls and remaining holders benefit.
Adding more
Topping up averages your lock date across your locked HBR, weighted by size; HBR that has already served its 90 days stays free. Worked examples are in How Hex Bond works.
Staking more or unstaking claims your unlocked rewards automatically. A top-up also pushes back the unlock of rewards still pending — claim first if you want them sooner.
Is my HBR safe?
Your staked HBR stays in the staking contract and nowhere else, and nothing outside it can block you from unstaking. See HBR token for supply and the swap tax.
